Primary Purpose or Function: To Recruit Drivers, follow up with drivers that have been scheduled to attend orientation, conduct background investigations for hiring. Essential Functions: Call on all applications received by phone, internet, referrals or other sources To answer phone and respond to prospective drivers calls for job leads Recall on applications not reached/messages left and send emails to prospective drivers Run DAC/MVR/Driver Facts/Work # (reports) to verify work history Obtain detailed information for applications with the needed/job history in date order Research & obtain necessary information for driver qualification Call & Communicate approvals/denials with prospective drivers Schedule for orientation approved applicants Additional Responsibilities: Maintain a daily task report noting calls made/source of call/results & daily DBA recruiting log Set up a follow up in Tenstreet for follow up notes with applicants Follow up/Recall Applicants who had scheduled in but did not show Maintain a filing system for apps called/worked/denied Attend & participate in motivational/educational classes for recruiting/company related Attend recruiting events as requested; including truck stops or job fairs as necessary Job Qualifications: Computer Skills- Knowledge and use of Excel, Word, Outlook Proficient in Verbal and Written Communication Detail Oriented Self Motivated Ability to multi task and good problem solving skills Excellent motivating and inter-personal skills Sound Reasoning Abilities Experience in a fast paced office is essential Sales, Telemarketing, Insurance sales, or collections experience is preferred. Mon-Fri 8-5 with some weekends as needed Starting salary is $9/hr. company offers excellent benefits.
